We invite area college students to come utilize the sanctuary as a unique space to study and connect. Little Woods is home to 40 plus sanctuary residents and while everyone gets attention everyday they can always use more socialization! Spending time around the animals is not only beneficial to them, but also helps reduce stress and the pressures of academic life. Sanctuary Study Hall will be open every Sunday from 4-6pm. Refreshments will be provided and we ask that no outside food or drink be brought in other than water. We are 30 minutes from Both CMU and FSU just outside the village of Mecosta. For the safety of the rescue animals we don’t publicly post our address. Address and arrival information will be emailed upon sign up. Attendees must be over 18. Little Woods Animal Sanctuary has a zero tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol on the property, including nicotine and vapes. We cannot allow individuals under the influence onto the property, please be respectful and mindful of the animals here. All attendees will be required to sign our standard liability form.
