Companion Animal Candlelight Memorial
Whether it has been days or years since your loss, we invite you to an intimate candlelight memorial honoring our animal companions who have crossed the rainbow bridge. Join us on October 27th at 6pm to share a moment in remembrance, light a candle (electric for safety), and take in the special healing of being surrounded by our rescued residents who call the sanctuary home. Reverend Ginny Mikita, of Animal Blessings, will be leading the memorial ceremony. We encourage you to bring a photograph or small memento of your friend who has passed. Attendees will have the opportunity to share a brief memory with the group making sure everyone has a chance to hold space for their lost companion. The event will take place on site at Little Woods Animal Sanctuary, just outside of the village of Mecosta, MI. We ask that attendees arrive on time to begin at 6 in order to avoid disruptions during the memorial. Following the candle lighting ceremony we will tour the sanctuary and share the residents stories.
