JOIN OUR VOLUNTEER TEAM!
We are always in need of volunteers and have opportunities to fit most schedules, as well as opportunities for all abilities! We typically require a minimum commitment of 2 hours, one day a week. However, there are opportunities for monthly and one time commitments. We welcome teams of coworkers or organizations that would like to come spend the day helping out, please contact us for more information on group volunteering. For regular volunteers we have a minimum age requirement of 12 years old and all minors must be accompanied by an adult. If you are seeking volunteer hours for an academic or legal reasons we are happy to work with most to achieve their requirements. Volunteers can expect to assist with a variety of tasks, such as daily cleaning of animals spaces, providing enrichment opportunities, maintaining the facilities and grounds, etc. We are located just outside the village of Mecosta MI, directly between Mt. Pleasant and Big Rapids (roughly 30 minutes from each) or an hour north of Grand Rapids. If you have any questions regarding volunteering with us please reach out here.
